Work with a database builder for culinary information. Digitize all your favorite recipes and share them online or generate documents containing the preserved materials. Send the recipes via email or customize thematic prints. Import data from popular recipe sites.

You can use this program to organize all your recipes, share them with your friends, and download new ones from various recipe websites. A very handy tool for every stay-at-home mom or dad.
The program's idea is very simple. You can think of it as a recipe box. It aggregates recipes from you yourself, your friends, all over the Web and displays the results in one nice, colorful, tasty interface. The developers made it extremely easy to import the recipes. In most cases, just find one on the Web, select it, and it will be imported into the program. Drag a recipe or a couple of them into a shopping list, and you will have a complete list of things you need to buy to make the recipe come true for a dinner or a party. In cases of parties, you can scale the recipe so there is enough food for everyone who is invited or not.

The MobileMe component of the program allows you to share your recipes or receive recipes from your friends, family, colleagues and so on. It means that the box of recipes can always be with you as long as you have Apple's iDevice or a MobileMe-compatible device. A word of caution: MobileMe will be history within the next year as Apple is moving to make cloud services free of charge. I am sure the developers will release an update when MobileMe is no longer.

While browsing the program's website you can find that the developers are also planning to include Nutrition as part of the application. It would be awesome to know exactly how many calories there are in the meals you prepare - so you can control your diet better.

Overall, the program is a 5 out of 5 in my book. The pictures of some of the recipes are amazing. The interface is quite simple to understand and looks great. The program can be a great present to your friends or family members who can cook and who own a Mac. It is only 20 dollars but it will replace or append the whole stack of recipe index cards in the kitchen.
